Sep.	Mon. 9/6/10 - Labor Day Parade This year the MEA has been invited to march with us down Woodward and we hope for a great showing. Thurs. 9/16/10 - ASSC Welcome Luncheon 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, UGL Community Room Thurs. 9/23/10 - A Talk by Diane Ravitch 6:00 p.m., Community Arts Auditorium. Ravitch's latest book is a tour de force that points out many of the reform fads that are hurting public education. This is open to the public. Download the flyer for more information.
Oct.	Wed. 10/6/10 - AAUP – AFT, Membership Meeting 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm, Student Center, Hilberry A (2nd Floor). This meeting is open to all full-dues paying members. Thurs. 10/21/10 - ASSC Luncheon Workshop: ESS 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm, UGL Community Room. Fri. 10/22/10 – New Faculty Reception / Tenure Promotion Recognition 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, General Lectures, Italian Lounge. A reception to welcome new faculty and honor those awarded tenure and/or a promotion in the last year. Please RSVP since refreshments will be served.
