Who to Contact
If you have a question about your right under the Contract or if you are curious what your options are for your situation, remember:
DON'T SIGN ANYTHING YET. Talk to someone first before you sign anything. It is confidential and can't hurt.
Talk to your Council Rep, they are good resources and can often point you in the right direction.
You can always contact a member of the Contract Enforcement Team. For Academic Staff, that means contacting Barbara Jones, Kristen Chinery, Anglesia Brown, or Heather Sandlin. For Faculty, that means contacting Christine Knapp, Pramod Khosla, Aaron Martin, or Juliann Binienda.
You can fill out the form below and someone will get in touch with you. All submissions are confidential for internal use at AAUP-AFT 6075.
And of course, you can always call the Union Office at 313-577-1750 or email at office@aaupaft.org. You can call to ask a question. It doesn't mean you're necessarily setting any wheels in motion or doing anything other than just getting some information.
Remember: You have a right to representation at all meetings with administrators/management which may impact your wages, working conditions or future of employment. You have the right to reschedule all such meetings in order to have a representative present with you.
